You will write high-performance backend code (Java, C++, or Go), own reliability end to end, and ship features that expand trading capabilities, with a remote-first culture and quarterly in-person surges.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on ownership of production trading, exchange, or financial infrastructure systems at scale.
• Proficiency in a backend language such as Java, C++, or Go with experience in latency-sensitive workloads.
• Track record designing and operating highly reliable distributed systems processing high volumes with uptime requirements (24/7).

Responsibilities

• Build and operate low-latency, event-sourced trading systems spanning matching, order entry, risk, and market data across cloud and colocated environments.
• Own the reliability and correctness of production systems processing high-throughput financial data 24/7, including incident response and failover design.
• Partner with Product, Infrastructure, and senior engineering leadership to translate strategy into quarterly deliverables and well-scoped milestones.
