Job summary

Apex Technology Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, scope, and deliver complex IT infrastructure projects for managed services clients. You will lead project engineering from design to implementation, mentor engineers, and act as the senior technical authority across Microsoft environments and networking.

The role emphasizes client-facing design, documentation in IT Glue, and collaboration with project managers and vCIOs to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT, with systems/network or infrastructure project delivery.
• Deep hands-on in Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, Hyper-V.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure admin experience.
• Advanced networking, VPNs, firewalls, WAN/LAN architecture.
• Experience writing technical scopes and leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer complex IT infrastructure solutions per client needs.
• Lead solution design across Microsoft, virtualization, Azure, networking, and security.
• Architect WAN/LAN, firewall, VPN, and network security implementations.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects.
• Mentor engineers and maintain Apex’s technical standards.
