Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking an IT Engineer to design, implement, administer, and optimize our technology infrastructure. This role covers systems engineering, network management, cloud operations, cybersecurity practices, and project delivery. It focuses on architecture and lifecycle management, not help desk support.

You will work on Windows/macOS/Linux environments, design networks, and manage cloud services. On-site Playa Vista, CA, US citizenship required for this full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical field.
• 5–7 years of progressive hands‑on IT engineering experience.
• Experience with Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux environments.
• Strong networking knowledge: LAN, WAN, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, firewalls.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and security practices.
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, and Python; ability to automate tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate clearly.
• Documentation and procedures for configurations and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering, administration, and troubleshooting of systems, networks, and cloud infra.
• Build, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers from deployment onward.
• Administer Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux environments.
• Design and manage LAN, WAN, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, firewalls, and policies.
• Support Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Entra ID, Intune, Jira/Confluence, Slack.
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure; implement fixes.
• Develop automation scripts in PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Lead IT infrastructure projects and ensure timely delivery.
