Job summary

Hex Technologies is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to secure our cloud-native platform across AWS and Kubernetes. You will design and implement security controls, build infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, and lead security in CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with engineering and operations teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in cloud security, deep AWS experience, Kubernetes hardening skills, and certifications such as AWS Security Specialty or CKS. Remote US options are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud security engineering experience required.
• Extensive AWS expertise and Kubernetes security tooling experience.
• Proficient in Terraform and CI/CD security controls.
• Familiar with CNAPP and SIEM solutions (Wiz, Panther) and cloud compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage security controls for AWS and Kubernetes clusters.
• Lead secure SDLC practices and DevSecOps in CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform threat modeling, security assessments, and audits.
• Mentor engineers and promote security across the org.
