Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Plano, TX is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer III to join the CTC team. You will apply strong knowledge of hardware, networking, storage, deployment, automation, and data systems to support infrastructure at scale with end-to-end monitoring of applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, resolve complex issues, and drive automation using Python, IaC, and cloud technologies across public and private environments.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years supporting products or infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure disciplines: hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, performance.
• Scripting skills in Python or similar language; ability to automate tasks.
• Strong communication skills for leading meetings and knowledge sharing sessions.
• Experience across public/private clouds and ability to migrate between them.
• Willingness to expand infrastructure knowledge, data fluency, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Netcool.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to projects of moderate scope and ensure end-to-end monitoring of applications.
• Resolve issues and determine escalation paths.
• Execute standard approaches to solve technical problems.
• Support daily activities of capacity-related applications.
• Collaborate with application and infra teams to identify capacity risks and remediation statuses.
• Consider upstream/downstream data and systems when making decisions on projects.
• Make significant decisions for multi-technology projects.
• Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
