Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks an Infrastructure Engineer III to strengthen data-center reliability and scale within the Corporate Sector – Infrastructure Platforms. You will apply scripting, IaC, and AI-enabled automation across Linux/Windows stacks, collaborating on monitoring, capacity planning, and incident response.

This role emphasizes governance, security, and resiliency, with hands-on dashboard design and measurable service-level improvements.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to support infrastructure workflows with validation for data sensitivity.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages.
• Experience with multiple clouds and IaC tools.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot and coding assistants.
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows, networking, databases, deployments.
• Knowledge of web servers like Apache, Tomcat, IIS, WebSphere/IHS.
• Proven reliability and security best practices.
• Observability and monitoring with modern tooling such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus, CloudWatch, Splunk.

Responsibilities

• Applies technical knowledge to projects of moderate scope with emphasis on data and systems running at scale.
• Uses enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate monitoring and capacity analysis with strong validation.
• Decides on significant project-level choices across multiple technologies.
• Applies AI-assisted approaches to identify recurring capacity risks and improve remediation workflows.
• Builds hands-on agentic automation for operational workflows with proper controls and monitoring.
• Champions site reliability culture and leads initiatives to improve reliability using data-driven analytics.
• Collaborates with stakeholders and customers to define service level indicators and objectives.
• Diagnoses and implements changes to resolve issues and modernize processes.
• Collects telemetry, designs dashboards, ensures reliability and security.
• Escalates issues with detailed technical write-ups and partners with teams to remediate capacity risks.
