Primoris Services Corporation, a leading infrastructure services provider, seeks a Senior Designer for its Denver area office to train incoming designers and supervise quality control, ensuring client specifications are met across multiple projects.

You will read diverse construction drawings, develop facility designs, manage projects end-to-end, and coordinate permits and communications with clients and vendors. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in design, construction or related field preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with SAP platform and GIS or mapping software desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; professional demeanor in client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Quality control of client work and actioning client items.
• Design facilities for new and existing customers according to construction standards.
• Read and interpret construction drawings (one lines, mechanical, plumbing, etc.) to determine job scopes.
• Manage and report on multiple projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate with area engineers, customers, and division support to meet deadlines.
• Obtain permits and easements per city, state, and federal requirements.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and supervisors on all job aspects.
• Provide cost-effective estimates using standardized documents.
• Attend on-site meetings to determine site-specific requirements.
• Inspect work in progress to ensure documentation conforms to standards.
