Primoris Pipeline is seeking a Sr. Civil-Structural CAD Designer to create detailed 2D and 3D structural drawings and models using AutoCAD, Cadworx Structure, and Civil 3D.

This role works with minimal supervision from lead designers and engineers while efficiently managing assigned tasks to develop comprehensive construction packages, drafting, modeling, quality checks, and adherence to project standards. Qualifications

• Experience creating 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Cadworx Structure, and Civil 3D.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision from lead designers and engineers.
• Thorough understanding of drafting workflows for construction packages.
• Ability to review vendor information and ensure alignment with design models.
• Mentor CAD Designers and supervise junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned projects or tasks, delivering high-quality outputs.
• Participate in minimal site visits to verify as-built conditions or gather field data.
• Produce detailed 2D drawings for structural components and systems using AutoCAD.
• Develop 3D grading and earthwork models using Civil 3D.
• Develop grading plans and profiles from Civil 3D.
• Review and oversee work by CAD Designers to ensure consistency and quality.
• Serve as a resource for CAD Designers with mentorship.
• Ensure drawings and models adhere to project standards and client specifications.
• Prepare deliverables for client submissions.
