Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Project Manager I in Denver, CO. After training, the role will become hybrid, with two days at home and three days from the Commerce City office.

You will support project execution, manage costs, prepare reports, and drive profitability under the Operations Team of Q3 Contracting, a division within Primoris. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction project controls or related areas, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong skills in MS Project,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business management, or accounting.
• 3 years of directly related experience in cost accounting, scheduling, or project controls for construction projects.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support project execution including resource utilization and change orders.
• Analyze and review cost/budget expenditures.
• Create detailed cost reports and diagrams.
• Collect cost and performance updates from construction personnel.
• Document historical cost and schedule data.
• Support Operations Managers in assessing project profitability.
• Facilitate monthly invoice generation and documentation.
• Project accounting setup at initiation and close-out.
• Report monthly for active projects.
• Document estimates and proposals.
• Create CPM schedules using scheduling tools.
• Conduct change control and risk management.
• Mentor colleagues with less experience.
