Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Construction Manager in the Los Angeles area to provide construction site leadership for transmission station and line projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and scope. You will oversee compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations and provide QA/QC oversight aligned with engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in heavy civil construction management on large infrastructure projects.
• PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.
• Education or certification related to construction management will be an asset.
• Experience in executing alternative delivery transportation/construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals, contract development and oversight over all scope and construction work on the program.
• Overseeing construction work, and coordination with the Development agreement.
• Strategic Leadership to ensure alignment with Jacobs' business, health and safety, project, and quality management processes.
• Contribute to business and sales planning activities, assist with growth opportunities and innovation, ensure successful delivery of projects within financial/quality expectations.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision and provide innovative solutions.
• Maintain safety and compliance with Jacobs' standards across the project team.
• Build relationships with Jacobs and client stakeholders at all levels and guide through complex issues.
• Identify opportunities for integrating Jacobs' solutions, including program management, digital transformation, sustainability, and advisory services.
