Job summary

Verizon is looking for a seasoned Infrastructure & Cloud Security leader to drive governance, automation, and risk-aware design across Global Technology Solutions. You will partner with Cybersecurity, Network Security, and enterprise teams to enable secure digital transformation.

In this hybrid role, you’ll mentor engineers, deliver executive dashboards, and advance automation and analytics to improve security maturity, aligned with NIST CSF and MITRE ATT&CK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six+ years of relevant experience in information security, network tech or risk analysis.
• Experience with scripting and automation for data parsing and API interactions.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations with internal/external stakeholders.
• Automate governance reporting dashboards and scorecards.
• Design support for on-prem, data centers, and cloud environments.
• Identify gaps and drive process improvements for cybersecurity maturity.
• Provide security awareness and compliance training across teams.
• Partner with security teams on defensive operations and incident response.
