Job summary

Verizon is seeking a seasoned Infrastructure & Cloud Security leader to drive governance, automation, and security across global networks. You will partner with Cybersecurity, Global Network teams, and GTS to safeguard networks and enable secure digital transformation.

This role emphasizes operational leadership, metrics reporting, and proactive defense through threat-hunting, incident response, and designed security programs. Hybrid work includes in-office days and remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four+ years of work experience.
• Six+ years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in Information Security, Network Technology or Technical Risk Analysis.
• Experience with scripting and programming for automation of data parsing, API interactions, and custom tool development.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Automate governance reporting dashboards and scorecards.
• Support design of On-Prem, data centers and Cloud environments.
• Identify gaps and drive process improvements to enhance cybersecurity maturity.
• Provide security awareness, training and compliance programs.
• Participate in incident response, red team and threat-hunt activities.
• Deliver executive level operational readouts and metrics.
• Mentor network & infrastructure analysts and engineers.
