Job summary

Arup is expanding its Advisory team on the East Coast and seeks a Consultant for Technical Advisory to work on infrastructure projects including energy, transport, and water. You will contribute to technical due diligence, develop business cases, and support client engagements from offices on the East Coast (NYC, NJ, DC, Boston, Chicago).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
• 4+ years’ relevant work experience in US infrastructure/advisory
• Excellent presentation and writing skills; strong MS Office ability
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Fluency in English; Spanish/Portuguese a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute in client-facing technical, commercial, and/or financial advisory engagements.
• Undertake technical due diligence for investors and lenders across energy, transport, water, telecom, etc.
• Develop and assess business cases for energy/infrastructure projects with developers and financiers.
• Support business development and pursuit of new work and clients.
• Mentor junior staff to build analytical and consulting capabilities.
• Interact with clients in meetings, presentations, and workshops.
