Job summary

Gradial is the marketing operations platform for AI-native content. We’re seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Infra/Platform) to shape the foundation our stack runs on, partnering with the CTO and engineers to boost speed, reliability, and operability in a high-growth environment.

This hands-on, individual-contributor leadership role owns the platform’s reliability and scalability, leads Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and IaC initiatives, and builds tooling that helps engineers move faster

Qualifications

• 7+ years in platform engineering, SRE, DevOps, or related roles with ownership of production systems.
• Experience designing and operating production-grade infrastructure in fast-growing environments.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud-native architecture, and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability, scalability, and operational health of Gradial’s production platform.
• Lead evolution of Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure as code across the stack.
• Set the standard for design, shipping, and operation of reliable systems.
• Build tooling and automation to help engineers move faster with more confidence.
• Drive improvements in monitoring, alerting, incident response, and service readiness.
• Partner with engineering to identify scaling risks early and solve them.
• Influence long-term direction of platform across reliability, security, performance, and cost.
