Job summary

Gradial is the marketing operations platform for AI-native content. We’re seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Infra/Platform) to shape the foundation our stack runs on, partnering with the CTO and engineers to boost speed, reliability, and operability in a high-growth environment.

This hands-on, individual-contributor leadership role owns the platform’s reliability and scalability, leads Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and IaC initiatives, and builds tooling that helps engineers move faster

Qualifications

7+ years in platform engineering, SRE, DevOps, or related roles with ownership of production systems.
Experience designing and operating production-grade infrastructure in fast-growing environments.
Deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud-native architecture, and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

Own the reliability, scalability, and operational health of Gradial’s production platform.
Lead evolution of Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure as code across the stack.
Set the standard for design, shipping, and operation of reliable systems.
Build tooling and automation to help engineers move faster with more confidence.
Drive improvements in monitoring, alerting, incident response, and service readiness.
Partner with engineering to identify scaling risks early and solve them.
Influence long-term direction of platform across reliability, security, performance, and cost.
