Job summary

ALTEN México is seeking an Intermediate Systems Requirements Engineer ADV to bridge design and release with system architects for infotainment subsystems. You will craft and manage requirements, perform analyses, and coordinate across hardware and software teams to ensure robust integration and validation.

Experience with DOORS, RTC, and JIRA, plus DFMEA and SDLC involvement, is essential for ensuring compliance and quality in automotive infotainment solutions.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Systems, Software or Telecommunications.
• 8 years of experience in requirements definition, management and elicitation.
• 8 years in IBM DOORS for requirements management.
• 5 years in RTC for workflow control.
• 6 years in JIRA for issue tracking.
• 8 years in SDLC and embedded diagnostics.
• 8 years in Systems Engineering methodologies.
• 8 years in vehicle communication protocols CAN/LIN.
• 8 years in embedded systems.
• 8 years in DFMEA/DFSS (design risk analysis).
• 2–4 years in CATIA V5 for model visuals/reviews.
• 4 years knowledge of Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration/validation.
• 4 years programming with Python/C/C++.
• 4 years knowledge of Vehicle Safety Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Write, update, and maintain technical requirements for Infotainment subsystem and related areas.
• Elicit requirements via stakeholder interviews and workshops.
• Use IBM DOORS for requirements management and traceability.
• Perform system requirements analysis and support design of infotainment hardware/software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure correct hardware–software integration.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve hardware and software failures.
• Use RTC and JIRA to manage workflows and tasks throughout SDLC.
• Contribute to software development lifecycle and quality assurance activities.
• Apply DFMEA to identify design risks and mitigation actions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and reports.
