Job summary

ALTEN MÉXICO seeks an Intermediate System Requirements Engineer for Infotainment. You will translate regulator and technical needs into actionable requirements for infotainment hardware and software across SDLC, collaborating with DREs, System Architects, and multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes requirements management, traceability with IBM DOORS, and risk mitigation via DFMEA, with hands-on experience in CAN/LIN and CarPlay/Android Auto integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Systems, Software, or Telecommunications.
• 5-8 years of experience in requirements definition, management, and elicitation.
• Experience with IBM DOORS for requirements management.
• Experience with IBM Engineering Workflow Management (RTC) for workflow control.
• Experience with JIRA for issue tracking.
• Knowledge of DFMEA and SDLC processes.
• Knowledge of CAN/LIN vehicle protocols.
• Proficiency in Python/C/C++ for scripting or automation.

Responsibilities

• Write, update, and maintain technical requirements for the Infotainment subsystem.
• Elicit requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
• Use IBM DOORS for traceability and documentation.
• Analyze system requirements and support HW/SW design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for HW/SW integration.
• Support SDLC activities and verification.
• Conduct DFMEA analyses to identify design risks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and reports.
