Job summary

Tonix Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Manager, Information Security to lead the company’s security program, balancing governance, strategy, and hands-on operations within a biotechnology environment.

You will develop policies, oversee security operations, and drive risk management while coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring continuity of critical systems and data protection.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience with at least 3 years leading programs or teams.
• Experience in regulated biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences environments preferred.
• CISSP strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature the enterprise Information Security Program.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and governance.
• Develop the cybersecurity roadmap and maintain the enterprise risk register.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop cybersecurity personnel.
• Provide technical oversight of security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, vendor assessments, and security platforms.
• Maintain hands-on proficiency with enterprise security technologies and provide operational backup when required.
• Lead audits, penetration testing, tabletop exercises, and remediation planning.
• Develop executive metrics and cybersecurity reporting.
• Partner with business stakeholders to integrate cybersecurity into business operations.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
