Tonix Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Manager, Information Security to lead and mature the company's information security program. This hands-on leadership role balances cybersecurity strategy, governance, compliance, and personnel leadership with engagement in technical operations to ensure continuity.

Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Information Security is responsible for the leadership, governance, operational maturity, and continuous improvement of the Company’s Information Security Program. This is a hands-on leadership role within an IT organization that balances cybersecurity strategy, governance, compliance, and personnel leadership with active participation in technical operations to ensure operational continuity.

Essential Functions

• Lead and mature the enterprise Information Security Program.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and governance.
• Develop the cybersecurity roadmap and maintain the enterprise risk register.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop cybersecurity personnel.
• Provide technical oversight of security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, vendor assessments, and security platforms.
• Maintain hands-on proficiency with enterprise security technologies and provide operational backup when required.
• Lead audits, penetration testing, tabletop exercises, and remediation planning.
• Develop executive metrics and cybersecurity reporting.
• Partner with business stakeholders to integrate cybersecurity into business operations.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directly supervises Information Security personnel.
• Responsible for hiring, onboarding, coaching, mentoring, performance management, career development, work prioritization, and day-to-day leadership.

Educational Requirements

• Experience in regulated biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences environments preferred.
• CISSP strongly preferred.

Salary Range: $130,000 USD - $170,000 USD
