Job summary

Tonix Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Manager, Information Security to lead the company’s information security program and align cybersecurity with business objectives. The role balances governance, strategy, and hands-on technical work to ensure operational continuity.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience with leadership responsibility.
• CISSP strongly preferred.
• Experience in regulated biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences environments preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature the enterprise Information Security Program.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and governance.
• Develop the cybersecurity roadmap and maintain the enterprise risk register.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop cybersecurity personnel.
• Provide technical oversight of security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, vendor assessments, and security platforms.
• Maintain hands-on proficiency with enterprise security technologies and provide operational backup when required.
• Lead audits, penetration testing, tabletop exercises, and remediation planning.
• Develop executive metrics and cybersecurity reporting.
• Partner with business stakeholders to integrate cybersecurity into business operations.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
