Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to protect data and systems. You will own the telemetry ingestion pipelines and ensure Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes clusters stay healthy, collaborating with a skilled InfoSec team.

You will work with Terraform, Kubernetes, APIs, Python, and AI tooling to automate security infra, monitor data quality, and manage ILM and cross-cluster search. DoD IL4 eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Elastic/Elasticsearch in production.
• Strong Kubernetes and ECK experience, with Kubernetes healthcare.
• Proficiency in Terraform for cloud and Elasticsearch resources.
• Experience with data ingestion pipelines and security telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Ingest security telemetry into Elasticsearch end-to-end pipelines.
• Maintain health of Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes clusters and ILM.
• Use Terraform and Helm to deploy pipelines and resources.
• Implement AI automation to reduce toil and improve observability.
• Ensure data quality, schema consistency, and cost awareness.
