Elastic, the Search AI Company, seeks a Senior Information Security Engineer to protect data and systems. You’ll own ingestion pipelines, ensure healthy Elasticsearch clusters, and collaborate with teams across the security org.

You’ll deploy and manage pipelines, index templates, and ILM using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm while leveraging AI automation to reduce toil and improve incident response. This is a high-impact role in a distributed company.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating ingestion pipelines for security telemetry.
• Proficient in Kubernetes-based deployments and cluster maintenance.
• Strong scripting in Python for automation tasks.
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs for data ingestion.
• Ability to monitor data quality, schemas and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data ingestion pipelines from new sources into Elasticsearch.
• Maintain healthy Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes clusters and ILM settings.
• Use Terraform and Helm to manage cloud resources and pipelines.
• Develop AI-assisted tooling to reduce toil and automate investigations.
• Monitor data flow, backfills, schema consistency and costs.
