Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to join the InfoSec - Security Architecture team. You will protect data and systems while working on telemetry ingestion and ensuring the health of Elastic clusters.

You will own the end-to-end pipeline from a new security data source landing, through ingest pipelines, into indices, detection, IR, and the querying teams. Strong production experience with Elastic/ECK on Kubernetes is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Production experience with Elastic and Elasticsearch in a live environment.
• Experience with ECK or Elasticsearch on Kubernetes strongly preferred.
• Ability to integrate with REST APIs for data ingestion.
• Eligibility to work in DoD IL4 or higher cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Ingest security telemetry into Elasticsearch and keep Elastic clusters healthy.
• Own end-to-end data pipeline from landing to indices and queries.
• Maintain and upgrade Cloud on Kubernetes, manage ILM, CCS.
• Use Terraform to manage cloud infra and Elasticsearch resources.
• Develop with AI automation to reduce toil and improve operations.
• Monitor data quality, backfills, and schema consistency.
