Job summary

The Search AI Company is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to help protect our data and systems. You will own security telemetry ingestion, ensure Elasticsearch pipelines are healthy, and collaborate with a skilled team on meaningful security projects.

You will manage end-to-end pipelines, from new data sources through ingest, indices, detection, IR, and quality assurance, while keeping cloud clusters healthy and cost-aware.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and operating Elasticsearch in production including ingest pipelines.
• Familiarity with ECK or Elasticsearch on Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform for cloud and Elasticsearch resources.
• Ability to leverage AI to accelerate development and operations.

Responsibilities

• Ingest security telemetry into Elasticsearch from cloud provider logs and SaaS data.
• Maintain healthy Kubernetes clusters, manage ILM, and enable cross-cluster search.
• Build pipelines and templates with Terraform and Helm for scheduled ingest jobs.
• Develop self-healing and alerting workflows using AI tooling.
• Monitor data quality and cost, ensuring data schemas remain consistent.
