Job summary

FHLBank Topeka is seeking a senior information security architect to strengthen cybersecurity across hybrid environments. You will design secure architectures, advise leaders on risk, and serve as a subject matter expert in cloud security, secure system design, and regulatory compliance.

You will architect and deploy secure solutions across onpremise and cloud environments, lead enterprise AI security enablement, and maturity of vulnerability management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Eight to ten years of information security or closely-related professional experience.
• CISSP certification preferred.
• CCSP or equivalent cloud security certification preferred.
• SABSA SCF or equivalent preferred.
• Azure Security Engineer Associate or equivalent preferred.
• Deep understanding of secure networking concepts (Zero Trust, segmentation, SD-WAN).
• Experience in a highly-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and integrate secure, scalable systems using industry frameworks.
• Support and evolve the Bank's information security strategy.
• Architect, design and deploy solutions across onpremise and cloud environments.
• Lead the secure enablement of enterprise AI security systems and integrations.
• Design and implement security controls for AI tools.
• Operate and mature vulnerability management processes.
• Monitor and investigate security events and incidents.
• Provide advanced technical support and guide junior staff.
• Advise leaders on cybersecurity risks and mitigation strategies.
• Deliver security training and awareness.
