Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to join the Cybersecurity team. The role involves software vetting, compliance documentation, exception monitoring, and automation tasks.

You will manage workload independently, align security configurations with frameworks, and take on new responsibilities based on capability. Responsibilities include triaging cyber help desk tickets, conducting risk assessments, and developing team documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Active Security+ certification or expected within six months of onboarding.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity domains, documentation, and frameworks.
• Excellent written and spoken English and customer service.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, ISO 27001).
• 5–10 years of progressive information security experience.
• Willingness to learn and contribute.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Tier 1/2/3 cyber help desk with customer engagement and issue resolution.
• Vet and review software for production network inclusion/exclusion.
• Perform security posture checks and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Assist with risk assessment and RMF/NIST 800-171/CMMC documentation.
• Escalate issues to engineers or managers as needed.
• Maintain and develop InfoSec process documentation.
• Collaborate with IT and Cybersecurity teams on security configurations.
