AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst III to support enterprise cybersecurity operations through vulnerability remediation and security incident ticket management.

The role requires reviewing findings, coordinating remediation with technical teams, and validating fixes to ensure verified closure. The analyst will work independently on routine to moderately complex tasks, maintain ticket documentation, and escalate significant risks.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or higher in cybersecurity, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity/IT with vulnerability remediation and incident triage.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and interpreting findings for remediation.
• Working knowledge of Windows administration, endpoint security, patch management, networking, and identity/access controls.
• Experience investigating security events using endpoint telemetry, logs, or SIEM.
• Experience managing work through an enterprise ticketing platform.
• Ability to distinguish routine issues from urgent escalation.
• Strong technical documentation, troubleshooting, communication, and organization.

• Triage and investigate security tickets involving emails, endpoint alerts, or compromised accounts.
• Gather evidence from endpoint security tools, security logs, identity platforms, and user reports.
• Document actions, assets affected, findings, and disposition in the ticketing system.
• Execute approved response procedures including endpoint isolation and quarantine.
• Escalate high-severity incidents to senior analysts or IR personnel.
• Coordinate with users, service desk, and technical teams to resolve issues.
• Follow evidence handling, comms, and incident response procedures.
• Identify config weaknesses and create follow-up remediation tasks.
