Diamond Technology is a Technical Services company. We have a client who is a large local public organization with an opening for the following position:

JOB TITLE: Sr. IT Business Analyst (Temp Contract & ON-SITE)

NUMBER OF OPENINGS: 2

DESIRED START DATE: Soon

LOCATION: San Francisco: ON-SITE + Local travel required to multiple Bay Area work locations

DURATION: 2 YEARS. 40 hours a week.

HOURLY RATE: $85ph to $95ph

Skills Summary

• 10 years of experience working with email domain changes, email migration projects involving inbound & outbound email flow
• Intermediate to advanced experience using Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)

Responsibilities

1. Task 1: Professional Services - As-Needed - Scope of work may include but is not limited to:

• Provide analytical support and serve as a subject matter expert for website, email domain migration, and disaster recovery efforts
• Lead requirements gathering discussions, analyze, and draft technical requirements
• Create reports, maintain records for system documentation, and support large-scale projects
• Experience with website redirects, email domain redirects, and email delivery processes
• Document requirements for business processes and applications related to email and website migration
• Research and analyze software products related to email domain migration
• Train and transition project work to City staff

1. Task 2: Project Management - As-Needed - Scope may include:

• Planning, scheduling, quality, scope & change management
• Drafting agenda items and meeting minutes
• Stakeholder engagement and communication planning
• Monitoring and reporting project status
• Overseeing project-related functions and training staff

1. Task 3: Disaster Recovery Analysis

• Analyze policies, provide recommendations, and document requirements
• Document risk management and contingency plans
• Train and transition project work to City staff

Success will be measured by task completion, benefits/outcomes, and stakeholder satisfaction.
