Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to provide cybersecurity engineering across engineering and operations networks, aligning with RMF and ICD 503 requirements.

The ISSE will develop and maintain SSPs/SAPs/SARs/POA&Ms, support A&A activities, and ensure security controls are integrated throughout the system lifecycle for DoD/IC environments.

Qualifications

• Must hold a TS/SCI security clearance.
• 5+ years of experience in information assurance or cybersecurity engineering for DoD/IC.
• Demonstrated RMF experience with DoD/IC environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity engineering support for DoD/IC engineering and operations.
• Ensure compliance with ICD 503 and RMF guidance.
• Support A&A documentation, artifacts, and procedures.
• Engineer and implement security controls per NIST SP 800-53.
• Develop, review, and maintain SSPs, SAPs, SARs, and POA&Ms.
• Interface with IA team, ISSOs/ISSMS, and government security representatives.
