Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE), SME, to support mission-critical DoD environments. You will design, implement, and maintain security solutions for classified networks, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical information assets supporting U.S.

Space Force missions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security controls meet RMF, NIST, DoD, DAF, and IC requirements, support risk

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• 15+ years of DoD/IC cybersecurity experience.
• Extensive RMF experience.
• Strong knowledge of NIST, DoD, DAF, and IC policies.
• Experience with classified networks and mission environments.
• Experience developing security architectures and supporting ATO activities.
• Proven cybersecurity SME with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert cybersecurity engineering for DoD and Space Force programs.
• Lead design, implementation, and assessment of cybersecurity solutions.
• Ensure RMF, NIST, IC compliance across classified systems.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders and engineers to integrate security.
• Track cybersecurity actions and remediation through completion.
• Present findings and risk assessments to senior leadership.
