Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to provide cybersecurity engineering across engineering and operations network solutions. The ISSE will ensure adherence to the IA program per ICD 503, RMF, and NIST guidance throughout the system lifecycle.

The role includes integrating security controls, supporting A&A activities, and collaborating with security and program teams to meet security, compliance, and operational standards in high-compliance

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• 5+ years in information assurance, cybersecurity engineering, or A&A.
• Strong RMF knowledge and NIST/NIST SP guidance.
• Experience producing SSPs, SAPs, SARs, and POA&Ms.
• Experience with IC and DoD environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity engineering support for engineering and operational network solutions.
• Ensure compliance with IA and cybersecurity requirements per ICD 503 and RMF.
• Support and prepare A&A documentation, artifacts, and procedures.
• Engineer and implement security controls in alignment with NIST SP 800-53.
• Participate in system categorization, control selection, and continuous monitoring.
• Interface with IA team members, program security and government reps.
