Job summary

StraitSys Inc. is seeking an Information Systems Security Specialist/Officer to support the FBI in Quantico, Virginia. You will evaluate, advise, and support documentation, validation, and accreditation to ensure IT systems meet IA and security requirements.

The role requires leadership in cybersecurity, RMF/A&A knowledge, risk assessment, and ability to translate legal requirements into practical security controls. You will mentor staff and participate in IT security governance for LD systems.

Qualifications

• US citizen and Top Secret clearance (SCI access possible).
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, MIS, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in Cybersecurity, Engineering, T&E or A&A related fields.
• Proficiency across cybersecurity and IT security matters.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary cybersecurity representative for reporting and compliance.
• Identify gaps and assess risk in IT security landscape.
• Understand RMF/ATO requirements and DOJ/FBI guidance.
• Plan, design, implement, and support cybersecurity artifacts.
• Mentor staff on IT and cybersecurity best practices.
• Manage the ATO process for LD systems and assets.
• Conduct testing and audit log reviews to evaluate controls.
• Monitor security of data, applications, networks, and physical environment.
• Support IA processes and RMF/DIACAP compliance.
• Develop system security policies and change management.
