Job summary

QualDerm Partners in Brentwood, TN seeks a Manager, Information Security to own security posture end-to-end. This hands-on leadership role blends strategy with practical implementation across Azure, identity, network, and endpoint architecture, while coordinating with IT and Compliance to embed security into operations.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of security experience, 2+ years in leadership, and strong communication skills to translate risk for executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive information security experience, including hands-on roles.
• 2+ years in a security leadership role, owning strategy and program direction.
• Deep hands-on experience with identity, network, endpoint, cloud security, vulnerability management, and SIEM/detection engineering.
• Healthcare regulatory knowledge (HIPAA, HITECH); HITRUST or SOC 2 a plus.
• Experience leading incident response and coordinating with legal, executive leadership, and external parties.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical risk into business terms.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the company's security strategy, roadmap, and maturity model.
• Lead security operations and report risk posture, incidents, and progress to leadership.
• Design and implement security architecture across identity, network, endpoint, cloud, and apps.
• Oversee vulnerability management, audits, and third-party risk reviews.
• Develop incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
• Coordinate with HR, Compliance, and clinical leadership on security practices.
• Lead M&A security due diligence and de novo site launches.
