Job summary

QualDerm Partners in the United States seeks a Manager, Information Security to own the company’s security posture end-to-end. This hands-on leader blends strategy with practical implementation across identity, network, cloud (Azure), and endpoint security.

You will partner with IT Infrastructure, Applications, and Data Analytics teams to drive a robust program including risk assessments, incident response, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive information security experience with hands-on roles such as Security Architect/Engineer.
• 2+ years in a security leadership role with strategy ownership.
• Experience with HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST/SOC 2 is a plus.
• Strong ability to translate risk into business terms for executives.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the company’s information security strategy, roadmap, and maturity model.
• Lead hands-on security architecture across identity, network, endpoint, cloud (Azure), and applications.
• Oversee vulnerability management, pen testing, and remediation across infra, apps, and data.
• Manage security governance, risk, and HIPAA/compliance posture; coordinate audits and inquiries.
• Lead incident response, threat hunting, and monitoring improvements.
