Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
• Advanced knowledge in cybersecurity principles, theories, and concepts.
• Proven experience in software development lifecycle security practices.
• Advanced knowledge of threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing.
• Experience implementing and managing complex information security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements cybersecurity solutions that protect assets, following established strategies.
• Performs threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
• Integrates and configures information security technologies in production environments.
• Serves as a technical escalation point for challenging security issues.
• Evaluates threats and design options to shape technical plans and priorities.
• Collaborates with product and engineering to apply security guidance in development.
• Develops and maintains security baselines, guardrails, and controls for compliance.
• Leads incident response and basic forensic activities per playbooks.
• Provides guidance and coaching to other security engineers through reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Leads security workstreams, coordinating contributions and ensuring quality.
