Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking an Informatics Business Development Specialist (IBDS) to drive pre-sales activities for CDS, Waters Cloud applications, and LMS software in the life sciences market. The role requires deep product portfolio knowledge, strong customer skills, and understanding of laboratory workflows.

The IBDS will work with Informatics Sales Specialists and cross-functional teams in the Central District (IL, MN, MI, IN, TX, KS, CO, UT) to attain regional revenue quotas and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Chemistry/Biology/Engineering coursework a plus.
• Experience presenting enterprise software to customers and conducting workflow analyses.
• Experience delivering software demonstrations in regulated environments a plus.
• Proven success in complex software or high-tech instrumentation sales.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer-focused software demonstrations and workflow analyses.
• Discuss product concepts and tailor demonstrations to customer workflows.
• Support PoC evaluations and manage multiple sales opportunities.
• Travel within the district and possibly beyond as needed.
