Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is the world’s largest equipment rental provider seeking a Sr. Systems Analyst - Corporate Apps to analyze, design, develop and test IT system enhancements with a heavy emphasis on Infor FSM Cloudsuite tools.

You will work with business units to capture requirements and drive scalable integrations. Responsibilities include overseeing development, testing and implementation, acting as a technical contact, and building analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Science or Business.
• 3+ years’ experience with Infor OS application and data tools including IPA, Infor ION, LPL, Infor OS Data Fabric.
• Ability to interact with and influence IT and business stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong documentation skills and analytically oriented.
• SQL programming skills.
• Experience with APIs, JSON, XML, and database systems such as SQL Server and DB2.
• About 10% travel for projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design, develop and test enhancements to IT systems with a heavy focus on Infor FSM Cloudsuite.
• Solicit, assess and prioritize user requests for system enhancements; write requirements.
• Architect and define scalable solutions for design, development and implementation.
• Oversee development and implementation of system enhancements with internal and 3rd party resources.
• Serve as technical point of contact for a broad range of topics; analyze and resolve issues.
• Build, modify and support integrations; review specs and test new functionality.
• Provide ongoing support to ensure integrations meet business needs.
• Implement reporting tools and analytics for site governance; maintain technical docs.
