Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of program management experience; 1–2 years of team leadership.
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) required.
• Prior experience in a complex academic health center strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in a program management role in Infection Control strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead systemwide infection prevention strategies across clinical, regulatory and organizational priorities.
• Serve as SME on high-level disinfection, sterilization and reusable medical device reprocessing.
• Oversee built environment infection prevention, including facility planning, design, and water management considerations.
• Provide guidance on regulatory standards and best practices for reprocessing and infection prevention.
• Support risk assessment, investigation and mitigation related to reprocessing deviations and environmental hazards.
• Collaborate with Central Sterile, Facilities, Real Estate, Engineering, Quality & Safety, Environmental Services, and Clinical Compliance to embed infection prevention in planning.
• Drive continuous improvement to strengthen infection prevention practices across the system.
• Ensure ongoing regulatory readiness across accreditation, licensure and public health requirements.
