As the Sr. Program Manager for Infection Control focused on High‑Level Disinfection & Sterilization (HLD/S) and the Built Environment, you’ll serve as a key subject matter expert driving best practices, supporting regulatory readiness, and influencing how care environments are designed, maintained, and improved. This is a high‑impact, enterprise role within Infection Control, responsible for advancing safe, standardized, and compliant practices related to medical device reprocessing and environmental infection prevention.
You’ll partner closely with clinical, operational, and facilities leaders across the system to integrate infection prevention into everything from daily operations to large‑scale construction and renovation projects.
Reporting to the Director of Infection Control, you’ll bring deep expertise, strong judgment, and a collaborative approach to navigating complex challenges while helping to build and sustain a culture of safety across MGB. Knowledge and experience in: Regulatory and other requirements related to Infection Prevention and Control
Advanced knowledge of infection prevention principles related to high level- disinfection, sterilization, and reusable medical device reprocessing across acute, ambulatory, and procedural settings.
Advanced knowledge of built environment infection prevention, including design, construction and renovation activities, water management programs, HVAC/airflow systems, and environment of care considerations.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to deliver presentations to a wide variety of audiences.
Ability to effectively plan and facilitate meetings and workgroups.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and projects, meet deadlines, and manage to schedule.
