Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Somerville, MA, seeks a Sr. Program Manager for Infection Control to advance high-level disinfection and sterilization and the built environment across the system.

You will partner with clinical, operational, and facilities leaders to embed infection prevention into daily operations and large-scale construction projects, reporting to the Director of Infection Control. This is a high-impact, enterprise role driving standardization and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
• Master's degree in related field preferred.
• 8–10 years of program management experience required.
• CIC certification required.
• Experience in a complex academic health center preferred.
• Prior infection control program management experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead systemwide infection prevention strategies aligned with clinical and regulatory priorities.
• Serve as subject matter expert on high-level disinfection, sterilization, and reprocessing.
• Oversee built environment infection prevention including design, construction and water/HVAC factors.
• Provide regulatory guidance and support regulatory readiness across the system.
• Partner with Central Sterile, Facilities, Real Estate, Engineering, Quality & Safety, and Clinical Compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement and governance of Infection Control policies.
