Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated seeks a Senior Manager of Infection Control for the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network. You will lead infection prevention across sites, supervise a team, and align practices with NHSN and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Master’s degree preferred in Infection Control, Public Health, Epidemiology, or Statistics; Master’s in Healthcare Management acceptable.
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) is required.
• Experience in a complex academic health center is preferred.
• Massachusetts RN licensure is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement system-wide infection prevention and control goals at the site level.
• Oversee infection surveillance, reporting, and remediation, including outbreak detection and response.
• Lead site-specific infection control activities and supervise four direct reports.
• Drive continuous improvement in infection prevention practices.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies and external committees as needed.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure operations stay within funding.
• Evaluate the infection control program and develop reduction strategies.
• Lead educational initiatives on infection prevention and control.
• Coordinate with Occupational Health on related policies and procedures.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to support infection prevention strategies.
