Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Industrial Water Wastewater Process Engineer/Design Manager to lead industrial water and wastewater projects from study through commissioning. The role supports facilities across the United States with hybrid work arrangements and travel up to 25%.

A PE license and 10+ years of experience are preferred. The candidate will mentor staff, manage project teams, and contribute to business development while applying advanced treatment technologies and delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of industrial wastewater experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer registration in one or more states.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Master’s degree or PhD in environmental or chemical engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Active business and risk manager capable of successfully planning and executing projects.
• Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to project team members.
• Make decisions guided by organizational and functional strategies / objectives.
• Deliver guidance and feedback to support career development of mid-level and junior staff.
• Travel as needed for client meetings and project site visits (up to 25%).
• Possess a strong understanding of industrial wastewater treatment systems.
• Design delivery, capital and operation & maintenance cost estimation.
• Project scheduling and work planning; manage and deliver industrial water projects.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering

Master’s degree in environmental or chemical engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) registration in one or more states

Valid US driver’s license
