AtkinsRéalis in Exton, PA, is seeking a Manager of Building Structures – Industrial to lead a high‑performing structural engineering team delivering complex, fast‑paced design‑build projects across manufacturing and pharmaceutical sectors.

This senior role drives technical excellence, guides project execution, signs and seals designs where required, mentors engineers, partners with directors to raise standards, and collaborates with architecture, MEP and process engineering to ensure safe,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; ability to obtain additional licensure
• 15+ years of structural engineering experience, including industrial projects
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and delivering complex projects
• Strong experience with structural design tools (RISA/STAAD/Tekla) and CAD/BIM tools
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with clients

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of structural engineers and designers.
• Serve as technical authority for complex industrial projects; review and seal designs.
• Drive design quality, project delivery, and adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with architecture, MEP, and process engineering teams.
• Support business development and client relationship growth.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and adherence to regulations across design and construction phases.
