Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Manager of Building Structures, Industrial in Exton, PA to lead a senior structural engineering team for complex industrial projects in manufacturing and life sciences sectors. You will provide technical direction, review designs, mentor staff, and collaborate with architecture, MEP, and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, master’s preferred.
• Active Professional Engineer license required, with ability to obtain additional state licenses.
• 15+ years of structural engineering experience, including industrial project experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading teams and delivering complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction as a structural design authority for industrial facilities and projects.
• Lead and mentor engineers and designers, improving project execution and standards.
• Coordinate with architecture, MEP, process engineering, and construction teams.
• Engage with clients to strengthen relationships and deliver results.
