Job summary
Johns Manville, a leading insulation and roofing materials company, seeks a senior strategist to increase its industrial portfolio sales through technical specification influence across North America. You will lead specification development with engineers, owners, and contractors while coordinating with product management to prioritize key initiatives.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years in insulation or related industries, a technical degree, and the ability to travel 60% of the time to support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
- 10+ years insulation business experience with customer-facing responsibilities.
- 6+ years in engineering community in influencer or technical sales role.
- Ability to travel at least 60% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Work with design professionals to position Johns Manville Performance Materials systems/products in specifications.
- Lead strategic planning and execution of technical and specification development within the industrial business.
- Identify and target specifier firms to rewrite master specifications to include JM products.
- Deliver AIA or credit approved presentations via video conferencing or in person.
- Maintain active project tracking and lead generation for top North American projects.
- Coordinate with product management and development on critical product initiatives.
