Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a seasoned technical sales and specifications leader to advance its Performance Materials systems in North America. You will collaborate with design professionals, field sales, and engineering to position products in specifications and drive strategic initiatives.

You will deliver impactful presentations, manage top projects, build a robust specifier network, and help shape product strategy through market insights. Travel up to 60% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management with 5+ years experience.
• 10+ years insulation business experience with commercial and customer-facing responsibility.
• 6+ years working with or in the engineering community in an influencer or technical sales role.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 60% of the time.
• Technical knowledge in power and energy industries and related facility design considerations.

Responsibilities

• Position JM Performance Materials systems/products in specifications with design professionals.
• Lead strategic planning and technical/specification development with field sales, portfolio, I&C, and marketing.
• Target specifier firms to include JM products in master specifications.
• Deliver AIA or credit approved presentations via video or in person.
• Track top active industrial projects and develop a strong lead generation pipeline.
• Assess market trends and competitor products to align portfolio with market needs.
• Manage relationships with key specification and application influencers.
