Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Service Technician to maintain, repair, and support industrial refrigeration systems at customer sites.

A strong working knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration and electrical controls is essential, with leadership in safety, technical excellence, and customer service. The role supports field service, requires 45–60 hours per week, and offers a competitive pay range with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of commercial & industrial refrigeration and electrical controls.
• Senior Technicians must demonstrate leadership in safety, technical knowledge, and customer service.
• HVAC trade school or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert repair and maintenance for industrial ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems from 100 HP to 5,000 HP.
• Perform routine and emergency service, diagnostics, and inspections on compressors.
• Troubleshoot and repair control systems, alarms, and electrical systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and company policies including PPE and respirators.
• Communicate with Service Managers and customers to coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Mentor and support apprentice technicians in developing skills and maintaining service quality.
