Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Service Technician to maintain, repair, and support industrial refrigeration systems at customer sites.

A working knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration and electrical controls is required, and leadership in safety and customer service is expected. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with a schedule of 45–60 hours per week and pay of $45–$65 per hour, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of relevant experience.
• HVAC/R or electrical schooling preferred.
• Universal EPA certification OR ability to obtain.
• RETA 1&2 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and repair for industrial ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems (100 HP–5,000 HP).
• Perform routine and emergency service, diagnostics, and inspections on compressors.
• Troubleshoot and repair control systems, alarms, and electrical systems.
• Ensure safety compliance and use of PPE/ respirators.
• Coordinate repairs with Service Managers and customers; perform preventative maintenance.
• Mentor apprentices to develop skills and service quality.
