Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC seeks an experienced refrigeration technician to perform advanced maintenance and repair in our warehouse environment. You will set up, monitor, and troubleshoot refrigeration systems, replace components, and ensure safety compliance.

You will oversee contractors, mentor junior technicians, maintain preventive maintenance records, and contribute to operational excellence initiatives to support efficient flow and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial refrigeration maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of assigned industrial refrigeration and mechanical-electrical courses required.
• HAZMAT training and certification required.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing control systems such as ALTA and Allen Bradley and maintaining records within a Computerized Maintenance Management System.

Responsibilities

• Define and set up operational settings and parameters for all refrigeration equipment.
• Monitor system performance and take actions to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and control systems to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Replace components within refrigeration systems following safe lockout/tagout procedures and safety program requirements.
• Perform routine and complex maintenance and repairs on various warehouse equipment in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Oversee and inspect work of internal and external technicians for compliance and quality control and assist in training and development of less experienced technicians.
• Maintain accurate preventive and predictive maintenance records and participate in operational excellence initiatives.
