Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a skilled Industrial Refrigeration Technician to maintain and repair warehouse refrigeration systems. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, replace components, perform lockout/tagout procedures, and keep precise preventive maintenance records.

Candidates should have a GED or high school diploma, 2+ years of refrigeration maintenance or 3+ years in industrial maintenance with RETA/Garden City/EPA Universal certifications, and experience with

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years industrial refrigeration maintenance or 3+ years industrial maintenance plus applicable certification (RETA, Garden City, or EPA Universal).
Completion of assigned industrial refrigeration and maintenance courses required.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair control systems including ALTA and Allen Bradley.
HAZMAT training and certification; experience with Oracle CMMS.

Responsibilities

Operate, repair, and adjust refrigeration systems throughout the warehouse.
Monitor performance and identify when systems are not operating correctly.
Replace components following safety lockout/tagout and program standards.
Perform basic pump-out and evacuate refrigerant for valve replacement/repair.
Conduct routine maintenance in accordance with OSHA standards.
Test and calibrate equipment; ensure compliance with specs and safety standards.
Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records and keep work areas clean and organized.
Other essential duties as assigned.
