Job summary

United States Cold Storage is seeking a maintenance leader to oversee refrigeration systems, facility infrastructure, and grounds. You will train staff, manage projects, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory programs while coordinating with management, subordinates, and vendors.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance of industrial refrigeration, knowledge of OSHA PSM and EPA Risk Management, and experience with material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• RETA Certified recommended.
• Must pass Emergency Response Physical (annual lung capacity and auditory testing).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of refrigeration systems, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
• Train and manage daily maintenance tasks of personnel.
• Schedule and manage facility projects.
• Train employees in safety and regulatory topics.
• Be on call 24/7/365 and participate in Emergency Response Team.
• Supervise contractors and approve contractor bills.
